Temenos Detox is comprised of a team of health care professionals that work with you and your family to achieve the most effective detox and smoothest recovery from any substance addiction. The Temenos staff will oversee your custom-made detox care plan and monitor your progress toward your detox goals. Your nurse communicates changes in your condition to your attending physician to request changes in your plan of care. It is important that you report any changes in your symptoms and that you do not hesitate to ask the nurse to contact your physician any time you have questions about your detox treatment plan. Diet plays a very important role in your health. When needed, a registered dietician reviews your nutritional needs to ensure that your body is receiving enough nutrients to promote your recovery.
The pharmacy works closely with doctors, nurses and other caregivers to ensure that you receive the right medications and in the right doses. An experienced pharmacist reviews your detox medication regimen on a regular basis, monitoring for drug interactions, dose adjustments or side effects. Pharmacists play a critical role in effective detox. Temenos pharmacists and technicians are highly trained professionals who are familiar with complex medication management as it relates to substance titration and detox.
Our first priority is to provide you the care you need, when you need it, with skill, compassion and respect. Tell your Temenos caregivers if you have concerns about your care or if you have pain or withdrawal discomfort. You have the right to know the identity of doctors, nurses and others involved in your care, and you have the right to know when they are students, residents or other trainees.
